that the Crusaders attributed their victory against the Turks at the Battle of the Meander to an unknown white-clad knight who was rumoured to have led their attack?

- Anyone? Angrybeerman (talk) 15:10, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
- The article doesn't actually say the Crusaders "attributed their victory" to the knight, it only says a rumour the attack was led by the knight "gained popularity", so you may have to reword either the hook or the article according to the source. Gatoclass (talk) 13:49, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
- Well, if Odo of Deuil is to be believed, the rumour was pretty popular among Louis's men. How about amending the hook to read 'most (or perhaps 'many') of the crusaders attributed...'? Angrybeerman (talk) 14:42, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
- How about being changed from "was said" to "was rumored"? Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:57, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
- Capital idea. I've just changed it. Angrybeerman (talk) 23:26, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
- That is not the problem. The problem is that the hook says the Crusaders "attributed their victory" to the knight, which the article doesn't state. Suggested alt:

- Yeah, that sounds ok to me. Angrybeerman (talk) 10:33, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
- Verified. Gatoclass (talk) 12:11, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
- Forgive my ignorance, but what happens next? Angrybeerman (talk) 21:31, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
