- ... that MSNBC's senior political analyst Mark Halperin was suspended indefinitely after he called Obama a "dick" on the Morning Joe?

- I'm not sure this is notable; these sorts of news gaffes happen all the time and just because a lot of people comment on it doesn't necessarily mean it's notable.
- Also, I'm not sure the title is the best title. It doesn't seem like a very encyclopedic description of the event (a more WP-like title would be something like "Mark Halperin's comments about Barack Obama" or yada yada). rʨanaɢ (talk) 21:12, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- Is this incident separately notable? Shouldn't this be part of Mark Halperin? I don't think article will survive an AfD, if somebody files one. Also, just from reading the article, it sounds as if Halperin had a potty-mouth problem before this latest live gaffe, so the proposed hook's claim he was suspended only for this one incident would be hard to prove. - Virtually all the sources say he was fired for the remark. If you disapprove of the title, feel free to rename.Smallman12q (talk) 11:39, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
