Template talk:Date range
Appearance
Stray comma
[edit]Daviddwd: I'm not sure if you've noticed, but the template displays a stray comma when using df=y
, i.e.:
{{date range|1695|01|29|1697|08|09|df=y}}
→ 29 January 1695 – 9 August 1697
I'd attempt to fix it myself, but I reckon I lack the technical expertise. Jay D. Easy (t • c) 21:46, 13 August 2019 (UTC)

Date ranges within the same month or year
[edit]@Daviddwd: Would it be possible to modify this template to automatically adhere to MOS:DATERANGE when the start and end date are within the same month or year? I'm a stickler for these things, and I hate having to remove the template to get it to display correctly. –CWenger (^ • @) 18:58, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
- Nevermind, took the plunge and did it myself! Apologies if I butchered your template. –CWenger (^ • @) 23:36, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
