Where should the links lead?
[edit]Should the links in this template lead to the current incumbent of a title or to the article specifically about that title? Eg, should Wigram lead to Neville Wigram, 2nd Baron Wigram (the incumbent) or to Baron Wigram. At the moment it is a mix of the two; though this might be due to many incumbents not having their own page. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 21:18, 14 March 2016 (UTC)

- Template:Current Barons of the United Kingdom → Template:Current barons in the Peerage of the United Kingdom
- Template:Current Barons of Great Britain → Template:Current barons in the Peerage of Great Britain
- Template:Current Barons of England → Template:Current barons in the Peerage of England
- Template:Current Barons of Ireland → Template:Current barons in the Peerage of Ireland
– Wrong preposition leads to misleading title; there are no "Barons of the United Kingdom". HandsomeFella (talk) 09:21, 5 January 2021 (UTC) —Relisting. —Nnadigoodluck███ 20:55, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. "In the peerage of" is a usage that exists almost exclusively on Wikipedia. See this ngram. If you search for this phrase on Gbooks, the first several pages of hits that come up consist of the various 18th and 19th century editions of Burke's. 5440orSleep (talk) 03:48, 6 January 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose per the above, and as template titles are primarily for utility, not visible content themselves. BD2412 T 05:56, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
