- This doesn't seem to have anything to do with this template. Ucucha 23:32, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

Theres some error with the flag, it does not appear in both this template or anywhere it is reference (eg. Economic Community of West African States page), I can see no recent change which would cause this however in the talk page it appears this problem has existed as far back as 2007. - This does not appear to be an issue with the template. Try purging the page, if that doesn't work, it may be due to a known issue at Commons involving files being sent with the wrong MIME type. – Train2104 (t • c) 14:53, 8 April 2017 (UTC)
- The issue seems to have resolved itself? Thanks for taking a look Lalichii (talk) 23:48, 8 April 2017 (UTC)

Please replace File:Flag of British Colonial Nigeria.svg with File:Flag of Nigeria (1914–1952).svg. The file has been renamed on Commons. Fry1989 eh? 18:36, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
Addition of Northern Nigeria and Southern Nigeria
[edit]Would it be possible to add variants of Northern Nigeria and Southern Nigeria (used in the years 1900—1914)? Like currently there is the "colonial" var, can use "northern" and "southern". --SuperJew (talk) 19:04, 27 November 2021 (UTC)

May you please add "Flag of Nigeria (state).svg" as a state flag variant and label it "state". Thank you. Legion566 (talk) 18:55, 29 April 2023 (UTC)

File:Flag of Nigeria (1952–1960).svg
[edit]File:Flag of Nigeria (1952–1960).svg
This template, Template:Country data Nigeria, has no data on the 2nd version of the colonial flag, used from 1952–1960, and so the flag cannot be called by templates like template:flagdeco.
I think that
- {{flagdeco|Nigeria|1952}} should code for File:Flag of Nigeria (1952–1960).svg
- {{flagdeco|Nigeria|1914}} should code for File:Flag of Nigeria (1914–1952).svg
- and perhaps {{flagdeco|Nigeria|colonial}} could also code for File:Flag of Nigeria (1914–1952).svg, only because it has up until now.
Can this be fixed please? tahc chat 23:32, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
