Units
[edit]I saved this from the bottom of the template, as I'm not sure it is needed in this template?

Alternative layout
[edit]An alternate layout may be:
- vertical
- not include all bit widths - e.g. 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128 (and leave for the existing bottom nav template that includes them all)
- non-aligned (as suggested by another editor, and as previously)

30-bit category
[edit]In this template there is no 30-bit category, instead it points to the article about the Univac 490. However there were a number of different 30-bit machines from Univac and not all of them were ISA compatabile.
For example the Univac 1104 (cut down from 36-bit 1103) and the Univac 1050 which was a variable word machine.
Also there was the RCA 4100 series of machines.

- Then there would need to be a "30-bit" or "30-bit computing" page, covering the 30-bit computers, to which to which "30" in the template would link. There is currently, as far as I know, no candidate for a page to which "30" could link. Guy Harris (talk) 07:57, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
- I've create a draft page in last couple days for this, need to add references as of yet, but once I have I'll submit it for review.
