The "6-cylinder" tag in the chart is misleading - the 108/109 series for example were commonly available with 3.5 and 4.5 liter V8 engines as well as the I6. Maybe better to group the cars in the typical Mercedes S-class?

Pre-war road car timeline?

[edit]

I see templates for "Mercedes-Benz vehicles" (1980s - present) and "Classic Mercedes-Benz vehicles" (1946 - 1970s). Shouldn't there be a "Pre-WWII Mercedes-Benz vehicles" template as well? That would cover such vehicles as the SSK, the 170 series, and the 770 Grosser. Respectfully, SamBlob 12:50, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

@SamBlob: I made a pre-war template Template:Mercedes-Benz vehicles before ww2, but it need some corrections. Also I hope people who know german will translate some articles. In future I'll make similar templates for DMG and Benz road cars —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vesko mb (talkcontribs) 11:46, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Edit: DMG and Benz road car timelines are ready.

Production start for the R107 series was in 1971 so the chart is misleading. Vertigo Man-iac (talk) 20:57, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
