Hi Rcul4u998. What's your source for 558/5? I went with the official state source, which is what we've been using for this graph, and it says 549 and 3. Guettarda (talk) 18:34, 20 March 2020 (UTC)

Guettarda I'm not sure about the 5, the state source said 225 new cases (1 is out of state, so idk whether to include it or not) and 2 new deaths today, so I just added them to the previous totals.Rcul4u998 (talk) 18:45, 20 March 2020 (UTC)

Sorry, the cumulative page on the website had been down for a while when I looked. It seems like the 10 case discrepancy comes from the fact that some of the "new" cases were actually just reclassifications of cases whose counties were previously listed as unknown. Deaths

Right now, we are reporting cases, and increases in cases in the two right columns: 9,334(+1,719) (+22.6%). A number of other charts, e.g., Ohio are reporting deaths: 2,547(+16%) 65(+18%). I think we should switch to that format. What do people think?

@Guettarda: I've considered this as well. I think we definitely need some way to more clearly show deaths on the chart, however I like the idea of showing both the raw # of case increases as well as the % increase, because for ppl like me, it can be hard to figure out straight number increase of cases off the top of my head. @Rcul4u998, Guettarda, and Denisebk: The daily death count data should be shown too. The more info the better. There should also be a column listing the recovery data. If any of you could add them it'd be most appreciated. I suck at math so I'd just mess up the calculations. TomCat4680 (talk) 15:15, 2 April 2020 (UTC)

Recovery

@TomCat4680: - the data hasn't been updated since the 10th. I think adding the recovery data to the chart was a bit premature, tbh, since there's only one data point. Guettarda (talk) 19:09, 13 April 2020 (UTC)

@Guettarda: The state has only been updating it on Fridays starting this month. It was at 56 on the 3rd and 433 on the 10th so there's two data points [1] [2]. I added the amount from the 3rd-9th, but maybe it should have a separate chart that's updated per week instead of per day? Any thoughts on this @Rcul4u998 and Denisebk:? Seems like a good idea. There's a note that it's only updated on Fridays already. Let's just add it to the chart on Fridays instead. I deleted it for Saturdays-Thursdays. TomCat4680 (talk) 14:13, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

Yeah that's why I think there should be a separate weekly chart instead so it doesn't look the non-Fridays had zero recoveries. I wish they'd update it daily like the other stats. Maybe we should write the governor's office about it. TomCat4680 (talk) 14:48, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

Consistency

Shouldn't this graph, along with the ones used for other areas, feature daily case and death counts in both number and percentage form? It makes no sense how both counts in this graph only feature one of them — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.55.55.59 (talk) 04:32, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
