add 'confirmed' to the title

[edit]

Any reason not to add 'confirmed' to the title? Given that the actual # of cases is about 100x higher, per the DPH. (If not that, then "tested"?) --50.201.195.170 (talk) 23:46, 21 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Tabular data

[edit]

I copied this data to commons:Data:COVID-19/Cases/US-CA.tab so it can be used by other wikis. There's a module to import the data from there. --EProdromou (WMF) (talk) 12:53, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Month toggles don't work

[edit]

Maybe it's just me, but pressing the 'Jan' / 'Feb'/ ... 'Last 15 days' toggles doesn't seem to work. I'd fix it but I don't understand the underlying syntax well enough. Yilloslime (talk) 04:03, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The toggles don't work as intended for me either, 'Apr' works in the opposite way compared to the other buttons. Apparently documentation says its a WIP so maybe they're working on it. -- AquaDTRS (talk) 05:36, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

May 22 data

[edit]

Hi, I am the creator of Chinese Version of Template:COVID-19 pandemic data/United States/California medical cases chart. California CDC do have the data for May 22, no? 90,631 confirmed, 3,708 death, you can have a look at the Chinese Version of California medical cases chart. --Shanghaiallen 05:46, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Chart for deaths and confirmed cases does not match data

[edit]

Hovering over the deaths for 2020-07-11, the title is 7017 but the number of deaths in the data table is 7014.

Similarly, 2020-07-12 has 8358 deaths on the chart but the data is 7040, and 2020-07-13 has 7346 on the chart and 7087 in the data.

As for the confirmed cases, each value on the chart corresponds with the previous day. For example, 2020-07-13 is 329162 on the chart and 336508 in the data; 2020-07-12 is 329162 in the data. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Razziabuissa (talkcontribs) 02:39, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Percent change

[edit]

Since the state is no longer doing a daily updates, the % changes in the table are now all n.a. Could the table instead include a calculated average daily percent change since the previous entry? For example, on 2022-04-25 there were 8,587,792 cases, and on 2022-04-28 8,605,663 cases. This is a 3-day change of 17,871 cases or an average daily increase of 0.069%.
