- Which is exactly why {{SharpeSeries2}} should probably remain. Any Cornwell biblio template would and "should" focus on publication order. However the focus of the previous template in a novel article will be to give the narrative sequence. which it appears to currently do but that is in distinction to the sequence of the others. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 07:55, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- Have a look at Sharpe's Tiger at how I recon they templates should be used. Except that the sequence of the new template ideally should be publication order and also should include the year of pub, e.g.
Sharpe's Devil (1990) ♦ Sharpe's Tiger (1997) ♦ Sharpe's Triumph (1998) ♦ Sharpe's Fortress (1998) etc
- Hope that helps. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 08:06, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- That helps immensely; I wasn't sure how to reconcile the two, but having the novels in pub order for this one (and all the other series it covers) vs. chron for SharpeSeries 2 will do it. Thanks. BrokenSphereMsg me 15:05, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- Spoton! All it needs now are the pub dates for the other novels and stories. Great work :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 16:02, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Yowzer! No sooner said than done. Great work :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 08:28, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
add nonfiction Waterloo: The History of Four Days, Three Armies and Three Battles ?
[edit]Cornwell has published a nonfiction telling of the battle of Waterloo, under the title Waterloo: The History of Four Days, Three Armies and Three Battles, in September 2014. Can someone add it to the template? I have not looked yet to see if there is a Wikipedia article on the book. It was timed to come out before the 200 year anniversary of the famous battle. --Prairieplant (talk) 08:29, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
