Does anyone think that converting this template to a horizontal footer is a bad idea? I think that, plus adding it to the bottom instead of the top of article's that it links to will improve the article's look. Any thoughts? KOS | talk 01:21, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, my personal opinion is that this template shouldn't exist at all (even though I created it), because all basketball positions should be merged into one article.
But anyway, that aside, I reckon the template's small enough to be a top-of-article floating-right template. That's just what I think. Neonumbers 10:33, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I kind of agree with you now, it is a little too small. As for merging all the positions to one big article, if you leave a message on the point guard, or shooting guard talk pages I'll see it, and we can discuss it there if you like. :) KOS | talk 12:08, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just another opinion to consider. I believe the diagram is fine for this purpose. I would also suggest leaving the positions in separate articles as it provides more information and examples on the specific position. It's great to have an abbreviated article from a coaching perspective on all the player positions. Mtn2top (talk) 22:50, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think "combo guard" may be a better label than "tweener" for the PG/SG look. Maybe it doesn't fit for size issues, but "tweener" can refer to several types of basketball players.MichaelProcton (talk) 04:58, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
