Template talk:Banks established in year category

Suggested revision - parent category for tagged articles

I suggest that the template be revised so that tagged articles are placed into the category (for instance) Category:Financial services companies established in 2004 instead of (for instance) Category:Companies established in 2004. This would bring the categorization into alignment with that found in Category:Companies by industry. Thanks for considering this. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 12:45, 6 December 2014 (UTC)

@Ceyockey: slow response, but now done.
his template now uses Category:Financial services companies established in YYYY if it exists ... and otherwise uses Category:Companies established in YYYY. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 01:04, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
