Wrong info
[edit]National Guard and National Security Agency are not part of MoI.
"Decree No. 14 of 2002 established the National Security Agency (NSA) to replace the General Directorate of State Security that was formerly under the authority of the Ministry of Interior." "There exists in Bahrain a multiplicity of organs holding law enforcement powers. The authority that they exercise derives from a number of statutes, including the Code of Criminal Procedure, the Military Penal Code, the PSF Law and the Decree Establishing the NSA." -- BICI report page 45 and 46.
Also, by looking into the index of BICI report on page 4 you can see that there 4 law enforcement agencies:
- MoI (PSF and CID)
- BDF
- NSA
- National Guard
And it's not clear if Special Security Force Command are part of NSA or Public Security Forces - perhaps you can check talk page and help us resolve this issue. Bahraini Activist Talk to me 16:37, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
Supreme Defence Council
[edit]I wasn't able to find much info about it. The only thing mentioned about it in BICI is: "The SDC is presided over by the King, and its membership includes the Heir Apparent, the Commander-in-Chief of the BDF, and the heads of certain government agencies, such as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Interior, Minister of Defence and Director of the NSA."
Khalifa ibn Salman Al Khalifa article says he was Head of the Supreme Defence Council in 1978.
this news article is somewhat related too. Bahraini Activist Talk to me 17:16, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
