Losing focus?

Anyone else think that the template is it's losing focus.? I think parks, museums, and libraries section should be part of a larger cultural attractions template for our major sports teams, parks, museums, libraries and theater/entertainment venuesSt8fan 23:51, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

This is a classification issue and you may want to add it to a "Ask for discussion" listing. I don't think sports teams should be added to a parks section; you could make a cultural template, but that would include things like the Motown museum etc. I actually think this template is morphing into a "Detroit Archetecture" type template with addition of the parks, library and museums. The parks fit here to my mind because they are physical aspects of city, an obvious extension of describing Detroit's downtown for anybody walking or driving around Detroit; plus, parks and "green space" really are an aspect of the buildings history and design, so many structures were built because they relate to the parks. --Mikerussell 01:42, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
I edited out some parks, I think the "Parks" section here are really using the term "Park" to describe urban space, not parks in the broader context.--Mikerussell 02:04, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
I'm also concerned about the focus of the template. It either needs to be renamed or reduced. I'm in favor or renaming it. X96lee15 19:46, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

Rename template

Would anyone have an objection to renaming the template {{Architecture of metropolitan Detroit}}? That is the title in the template and it seems the template no longer just lists Detroit skyscrapers. — X96lee15 (talk) 16:29, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Allright, I'm going for it. — X96lee15 (talk) 03:39, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Color

Does anyone object to changing the color to the default for {{navbox}}? Frietjes (talk) 16:10, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
