Time to split this template?
[edit]This template has grown too large! I think its time to split this template. • Sbmeirow • Talk • 18:12, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
Step 1 - Determine new article names and how to split?
- "Application ARM-based chips" <--- Cortex-A + ARMv7-A + ARMv8-A
- "Embedded ARM-based chips" <--- Cortex-M + Cortex-R
- "Classic ARM-based chips" <--- ARM7 to ARM11 and compatibles
Step 2 - Create new articles and copy text to new articles.
Step 3 - Migrate all articles that use current template over to new template.
Step 4 - After all usage has been convert, then delete this template.
- What do you think of the proposed article names? Please respond. • Sbmeirow • Talk • 18:14, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- No response, so I went ahead and split it. Done. • Sbmeirow • Talk • 17:37, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
- This looks pretty good. Well done. --Txt.file (talk) 21:14, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
V·T·E links?
[edit]Any idea if there is a way to add the View/Talk/Edit links in the top left like a normal {{navbox}}? I don't see any option for this in the documentation for {{navboxes}} but maybe I'm missing something? - PaulT+/C 02:59, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
