Format of URL and ID for profiles at Olympics.com.au

The identifier used by the Olympics.com.au database has changed more than once. Here is an example for Rolly Tasker:

• URL and ID in 2009: http://corporate.olympics.com.au/athlete/6256/Rolland+Tasker (archived)
• URL and ID in 2011: http://corporate.olympics.com.au/athlete/rolland-tasker (archived)
• URL and ID in 2016: http://corporate.olympics.com.au/athlete/rolly-tasker-12162 (archived)
• URL and ID in 2020: https://www.olympics.com.au/olympians/rolland-tasker/ (archived)

Removing the numeric portion of the former ID does not always generate the current ID:

• https://www.olympics.com.au/olympians/rolly-tasker/ (404 error)
• https://www.olympics.com.au/olympians/rolland-tasker/ (working link)

The current ID with the old URL usually redirects to the current URL:

• http://corporate.olympics.com.au/athlete/rolland-tasker (working redirect)
