Singles and bootlegs

[edit]

The template with the singles is way too big... I suggest to remove them or someone else will. The bootleg albums aren't necessary either. Both can be found on the discography page. No-Bullet 03:32, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

the singles have been removed, and you were right. they do seem too big for the template. i don't know about the bootlegs, though. i also responded in your talk page about the same talk. take time and please respond back. Ac-dcfreak785 13:40, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bootlegs

[edit]

Nobody answered, I'll remove the bootleg albums and the "The Razor's Edge Tour" link. No-Bullet 17:07, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bon Scott as a current member

[edit]

Hey!

Bon Scott is NOT a current member of AC/DC. you should know that by now. Scott died on February 19, 1980 from choking on his vomit, therefore, he is not a current member. please move Bon Scott to the former members spot on the template, or i'll do it myself. thanks! no one answered. so i'll do it myself. Jailbreaker22 14:39, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bon scotts last album with acdc was highway to hell

[edit]

I do believe it is informative that it was 7 months after the release of this album that he passed away. Look at it elsewhere online. It even says it was his own last in the album link. got it? Otherwise i will just report it. thanks.

Vanda & Young

[edit]

Vanda & Young, as a team, were co-producers of many early AC/DC albums, so I'm adding the duo link to the Production line of the plate. For most of their careers they have worked together as a duo from early The Easybeats years through AC/DC production to beyond: I believe they split in 2005. However, I'm still leaving Harry Vanda and George Young for those wishing to follow them as individuals, e.g. Young also produced their last studio album.Shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 02:33, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Colin Burgess

[edit]

I propose adding Colin Burgess as a former member. Colin deserves to be on there because he played on AC/DC's first single, "Can I Sit Next To You Girl/Rockin' In The Parlour", as well as being AC/DC's first drummer. If you want a source, it's reference #87 on AC/DC's page. Akdrummer75 (talk) 06:32, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would appreciate replies, as I need a consensus for this change. Akdrummer75 (talk) 07:57, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting extended confirmed

[edit]

Have asked for extended confirmed for Template:AC/DC...that said I think the layout the IP is trying to implement works better. Anyone else have a problem seeing links in the header if there not bolded - does it comply with the CSS colors for partially or fully color-blind.?--Moxy (talk) 23:49, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

That layout forces the height of the navbox to be 3-4 lines taller than it needs to be, and is not the convention for navboxes of this type. For over 99% of band navboxes, these are left in the "above" parameter so they can then find their own height. It is also the common convention for current or main members to be bolded, and past or minor members to be in normal weight text. These are usually listed in chronological order, not by function. There is no justificaton to go against this convention here. --woodensuperman 11:55, 18 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
