1915 champions? Co-champions?
[edit]The current source for 1915 "Northwest Conference Standings" puts 1915 Washington State football team (4–0, 1000%) on the line above 1915 Washington football team (1–1[sic], 1000%), really (1–0, 1000%).
No mention of the "championship", "title", "tie", etc. in the prose...
Other seasons such as Template:1922 Northwest Conference football standings and Template:1927 Pacific Coast Conference football standings award the (co-)championship based on contemporary sources ranking the percentage aka number of conference losses, ignoring number of extra wins and ties.
Additional sources are needed to determine the championship or co-championship.

- Cited article in the Spokane Chronicle settles pretty definitively that the two undefeated seasons were treated as equals with no defined way to figure out the sole conference champion:
Most Any Team Can Be Figured Winner — Northwest Conference Champion Must Remain in Doubt
Selecting a championship football team in the northwest this season, in view of the fact that the two undefeated teams, Washington State college and the University of Washington, do not meet on the gridiron, will be some job in itself. Which of the two teams really is deserving of the honor probably always will remain a question.
Just how any one can work out a northwest champion with such a conglomerated set of figures is a question, but apparently that is the only basis to start on as the teams which have lost no games and have a right to the title will not meet; so take your choice and don't argue the situation with any one who picks a different champion.
