Based primarily on the family trees found on pages 177 and 200 in Martin, Janet (2007). Medieval Russia: 980–1584. Second Edition. E-book. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press. ISBN 978-0-511-36800-4. This simplified family tree has the purpose of showing the Yurievichi ancestral connection between the ruling families of the Principality of Moscow (Daniilovichi), the (Grand) Principality of Nizhny Novgorod-Suzdal (Konstantinovichi), and the (Grand) Principality of Tver (Yaroslavichi). These three principalities were the main successor states of Vladimir-Suzdal, and they competed and warred over its legacy. It is not intended to be a complete family tree, only to show the common ancestry of Daniel of Moscow, Mikhail of Tver, and Konstantin of Suzdal (his connection to Andrey II of Vladimir is disputed; Martin 2007 p. 200 portrayed Konstantin as a great-grandson of Andrey).
