Appearance
This is a documentation subpage for Template:WikiProject Graphic design. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Usage
[edit]The {{WikiProject Graphic design}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. Transclusion also allows easy updating of all the Project's talk pages without having to edit hundreds of pages.
Usage
[edit]The full syntax is as follows:
{{WikiProject Graphic design
|class=
|importance=
|attention=
|needs-infobox=
|listas=
}}
General parameters:
- class – a rating of the article's quality; see the assessment department for more details.
- importance – a rating of the article's importance; see the assessment department for more details.
- attention – "yes" if the article requires immediate attention; this should be used sparingly.
- needs-infobox – "yes" if the article requires a suitable "Infobox" to be added
- listas - a DEFAULTSORT override sortkey, for use in:
(1) proper names; e.g. Joseph Müller-Brockman would belistas = Müller-Brockman, Joseph
, and
(2) listings beginning with "The"; e.g. The Complete Manual of Typography (book) would belistas = Complete Manual of Typography (book)
.
To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.
