Template:User wikipedia/Retired Administrator/doc

This userbox is used by retired Wikipedia administrators to show that at one time they wielded the mop but voluntarily relinquished their bit. The user's indicated gender identity in their preferences will be used to display either 'emeritus' or 'emerita'.

The intent is for this userbox to be used by former admins who resigned in good standing.

Parameters

The following parameters can be used to better personalize the userbox:

Data Parameters

• |1= — optional unnamed parameter; The site on which the user was an administrator
• |lang_code= — language code to work alongside {{{1}}}; See Help:Interwiki linking to select the correct {{{lang_code}}}
• |othertext= — appends text immediately after 'administrator emeritus/emerita' so the user can personalize the userbox, including any additional permissions
• |RFA=wikilink — optional parameter to link to the user's RFA
• |nocat=yes — suppresses adding user to Category:Retired Wikipedia administrators

  • |image= — replace the image in the left box; do not enter the 'File:' prefix
  • |img-size= — resize the image in the left box; default is 45px
