Template:User degree/BBA subject/doc

This template will display a userbox describing the major of your BBA degree.

Usage

The complete syntax for this template is {{User degree/BBA subject | Wikipedia page for major | text= | nolink= | honors= | nocat= }}

Parameters:

Wikipedia page for major = Title of the article to which your major should be linked, if any. May be left blank if you do not
                           want your major Wikilinked. If not used, a blank space must be left between two pipes.
                           (e.g. {{User degree/BBA subject| |nolink=Retailing}})
text                     = Name of your major as you wish it to appear in the userbox. Should be omitted if the same as
                           Wikipedia page for major OR if you do not want your major Wikilinked.
nolink                   = Name of your major as you wish it to appear in the userbox if you do not want it Wikilinked or it 
                           cannot be Wikilinked because no such page exists on Wikipedia.
honors                   = Latin honors you wish to appear in the userbox 
nocat                    = an optional user category inhibitor:
* nocat                  = true do not declare any user categories
* nocat                  = adds user to Category:Wikipedians with BBA degrees. (default)

Restrictions

• This template should be invoked from your user page. Pages will be placed into Category:Wikipedians with BBA degrees from the user namespace only.

• Name of major differs somewhat from name of related article on Wikipedia

Placing the following Wikitext on your user page:

{{User degree/BBA subject|Operations management|text=Production and operations management}}

creates the following userbox:

BBAThis user has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Production and operations management.

and adds your user page to Category:Wikipedians with BBA degrees.

• Name of major is identical to name of article on Wikipedia

Placing the following Wikitext on your user page:

{{User degree/BBA subject|Finance}}

creates the following userbox:

BBAThis user has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.

and adds your user page to Category:Wikipedians with BBA degrees.

• Name of major is identical to name of article on Wikipedia, user does not want to be added to a category

Placing the following Wikitext on your user page:

{{User degree/BBA subject|Advertising|nocat=true}}

creates the following userbox:

BBAThis user has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Advertising.

and does not add your user page to any category.

• Name of major is identical to name of article on Wikipedia, user does not want to be added to a category

Placing the following Wikitext on your user page:

{{User degree/BBA subject|Accounting|text=Public Accountancy|nocat=true}}

creates the following userbox:

BBAThis user has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Public Accountancy.

and does not add your user page to any category.

• No article exists on Wikipedia which would appropriately describe the major

Placing the following Wikitext on your user page:

creates the following userbox:

BBAThis user has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management of Mongolian Yak Herds.

and adds your user page to Category:Wikipedians with BBA degrees.

• No article exists on Wikipedia which would appropriately describe the major, user does not want to be added to a category

Placing the following Wikitext on your user page:

creates the following userbox:

• Name of major is identical to name of article on Wikipedia and degree conferred with honors

Placing the following Wikitext on your user page:

creates the following userbox:

BBAThis user has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree summa cum laude in Accounting.

and adds your user page to Category:Wikipedians with BBA degrees.
