This template converts GSS codes to political control for UK councils, including:
- England: London borough councils
- England: metropolitan district councils
- England: two-tier county councils
- England: two-tier district councils
- England: unitary authorities
- England: sui generis councils
- Scotland: councils
- Wales: principal councils
- Northern Ireland: district councils
This template does not include parish or community councils.
When updating this template, please also update Political make-up of local councils in the United Kingdom.
Usage
[edit]Councils are identified by passing a GSS code as a parameter.
Example one
[edit]E08000012 is the GSS code for Liverpool.
