Usage

Given that "Template:Taxonomy/taxon" exists, returns the rank of taxon, anglicized, with a lower case initial letter. The value of taxon should be given as an unnamed parameter. (It defaults to the page name if omitted, but this is not recommended.)

Examples

• {{Taxon rank|Felis}} → genus
• {{Taxon rank|Incertae sedis/Mollusca}} → class
