Template:Sports table errors/doc

Usage

To use this template on any article, or on any template, insert:
{{Sports table errors|Variable name|Variable value}}
which can be of the form:
{{Sports table errors|Variable name|{{{Variable name}}}}}

This template is passed a variable name as the 1st parameter and the value of that variable as the 2nd parameter. If the value is a date, m/d or m/dd, or a won–lost record, #–#, nothing is returned, otherwise an error message is returned consisting of {{{1}}}={{{2}}} followed by the text for the error. There is no checking whether m, d, or # are numerical characters. Note that the won–lost record can only be single digit values of won and lost. Values of 10 or more, will return an error.

Note that nonexistent parameter {{{2}}} will return nothing, irrespective of {{{1}}}.
