Criteria

The South African Barnstar of National Merit is awarded to users who have made extraordinary contributions to South African-related articles, and to any editor who contributes significantly to expand or improve Wikipedia's coverage of South Africa.

This barnstar incorporates elements from the Coat of arms of South Africa and the Flag of South Africa.

Usage

To use this Barnstar template, create a new section on the user talkpage of the user you want to give the award to, and add {{subst:South African Barnstar of National Merit|1=Put your message here.}} to the talk page of the user to whom you wish to award it.
