date The date in which the championship was won. Use {{date table sorting}}.
event The event where the championship was won. This should be wikilinked.
location The location of the event the championship was won at.
reign The number of reigns the champion has had to date.

defenses The number of successful title defenses during the reign, if the promotion keeps track of them.
  • Set to "yes" to display a blank column when |type= is used.
notes The notes section should only include the following:
  • If the new champion defeated someone other than the previous champion.
  • If the new champion received the title through means other than a match.
  • Match types that were not standard singles matches.
  • Why the title was vacated or abandoned.
  • The date when the match was aired.
  • If the promotion recognizes the start or end date of the reign differently than what actually occurred.
ref If possible, a reliable source documenting the title change.
type There are multiple settings for non-typical reigns:
  • "vacated": If the championship became vacant.
  • "unrecognized": If the championship reign was retroactively unrecognized by the promotion.
  • "unified": If the championship was unified with another.
  • "deactivated": If the championship was abandoned or retired.
  • "promotion": To indicate the beginning of reign history under a specific promotion, if the championship has been promoted by multiple organizations. Used with |name=.
  • "unrecorded": If the championship history is unrecorded for a period of time. Used with |start= and |end=.
sort number For sorting the blank |number= column when |type= is used. Should be a number in the middle of the previous and next |number=, e.g. 3.5.

start The start date when |type=unrecorded is used.
