Template:Portalbox
Description
General
This template generates a box. A title may be optionally included; the content can be provided from an external page or inline. For external content the box has and edit link at the top right.
Aim
This box is especially useful for the construction of a portal, hence the name. It enables the content and design of the portal to be cleanly separated from one another; the subpages only contain the content and the portal page just contains the code for the design.
Variables
- title ist the title of the box as displayed at the top.
- link is the address of the page which holds the content. It is also editable by clicking on the link Edit.
- titleforeground is the colour of the title text.
- titlebackground is the background colour of the title.
- boxbackground is the background colour of the whole box.
- bordercolor is the colour of the frame.
- inline is the content of the box, if no link is given.
- height is the exact height of the content area (e.g.
200px). If this is exceeded, a scrollbar is displayed.

Problems
- Images may exceed the box size. In that case use a {{subst:section}} at the end of the content page.
