Julie Delpy (born 1969) is a French-American actress and film director. In 1990 she found success with Europa Europa, portraying a pro-Nazi girl who falls in love with a youth she does not know is Jewish. Shortly afterwards Delpy moved to the United States, acting in Hollywood productions such as Before Sunrise and An American Werewolf in Paris and studying filmmaking at the Tisch School of the Arts.
