Template:Nothogenus/doc

Purpose

A nothogenus name (the name of a hybrid between two plant genera) is slightly awkward to format: the hybrid symbol × should not be italicized, but the genus name should; no line break should appear between the × and the genus name. This template simplifies formatting such names.

Usage

There are two unnamed parameters:

the genus name
leave blank for no wikilink, set to linked to wikilink

Examples:
