1948 NAL season changes:

• Cincinnati–Indianapolis Clowns completely leave Cincinnati and continue to play in Indianapolis at Victory Field as the Indianapolis Clowns.
• Cleveland Buckeyes leave Municipal Stadium and continue to play at League Park.
• Memphis Red Sox leave Russwood Park and continue to play at Martin Park.

This would be the last season that the league would be considered major league.
