Template:NZOR/doc
Usage
[edit]This template links to one or two records on the New Zealand Organisms Register (NZOR) ([1]https://www.nzor.org.nz/) You need the long ID hash corresponding to the scientific name in the databse. This is loaded into Wikidata for many New Zealand organisms, it would be nice to integrate that somehow.
{{NZOR|a42527ee-57bb-4a42-b745-e0c8c977ba01}}
By default it names the link with the page name, currently that is the species scientific name sans author or year. You can change it or fix it if it isn't displaying correctly with name
. When specifying a name you must italicize it manually if you want italics:
{{NZOR|450b886f-e27a-41b9-8e11-1c39149ed0ad|name=''Secotium virescens''}}
When displaying a second link, the name2
parameter is not optional, but you don't have to name both. Just name2, though you can do so if you wish:
{{NZOR|a42527ee-57bb-4a42-b745-e0c8c977ba01|450b886f-e27a-41b9-8e11-1c39149ed0ad|name2=''Secotium virescens''}}
For this output you can do this
{{NZOR|a42527ee-57bb-4a42-b745-e0c8c977ba01|short=yes}}
