Usage
[edit]This template database is used for generating tables for lunar eclipse events.
See also: User:Tomruen/Project_solar_and_lunar_eclipses#Solar_eclipses
Lunar eclipse event entries are named by the lunar eclipse date, year and money as 4 digits. For example 200012 means December 2000.
Data fields used:
- y = year
- m = month
- d = day of month (for UTC time at greatest eclipse)
- t = time of greatest eclipse (UTC) hour:min:sec
- h = hour of greatest eclipse (UTC)
- m = minute of greatest eclipse (UTC)
- imphoto = photo of eclipse (if past event)
- capphoto = caption with photo
- imearth = image of Earth as viewed from Moon showing visibility
- imwide = image of Moon in sky from center of Earth, wide angle showing constellation
- capwide = Caption text with wide image
- imclose = image of Moon's hourly timing passing through Earth's shadow
- ty = type (N=penumbral, P=partial, T=total)
- nd = node of eclipse (D=descending, A=Ascending)
- sa = Saros series index
- dt = duration of totality
- dp = duration of partiality
- dn = duration of eclipse
- ga = gamma = fractional distance of Moon's center to the Earth center, in lunar radii (negative for southward)
- ra = Right ascension of Moon at greatest eclipse in hours
- de = Declination of Moon at greatest eclipse in degrees north
- p1 = Time of first contact with penumbral shadow (Beginning of partiality)
- p2 = Time of last contact with penumbral shadow (Beginning of partiality)
- u1 = Time of first contact with umbral shadow (Beginning of partiality)
- u2 = Time of second contact with umbral shadow (Beginning of totality)
- u3 = Time of third contact with umbral shadow (Ending of totality)
- u4 = Time of forth contact with umbral shadow (Ending of partiality)
- ch = NASA chart URL link
- Tlast = wlink of previous total lunar eclipse
- Tnext = wlink of next total lunar eclipse
- Elast = wlink of previous lunar eclipse
- Enext = wlink of next lunar eclipse
- Slast = wlink of previous lunar eclipse of the same saros series
- Snext = wlink of next lunar eclipse of the same saros series
