Parameters

|year          = Year in which the convention was held
|party         = Political party holding the convention. Do not link this!
|election_year = Year in which the election for which the nominated candidates at the convention will run (if different from the convention year)
|image         = image (optional).
image_size = Width of image. (optional) Note: Default is 100px.
|date          = Date(s) on which the convention was held. If a range of dates, format should be month day-month day, year. (optional)
|city          = Location where the convention was held.  (optional)
|convention_hall        = Specific primary venue where the convention was held. (optional)
|other_significant_venues         = Other significant venues officially utilized for the convention. (optional)
|headquarters_hotel            = Name of the official headquarters hotel of the convention. (optional)
|before_or_after_DNC       = For Republican conventions: whether the convention was held before or after the dates of the Democratic convention. (optional)
|before_or_after_RNC       = For Democratic conventions: whether the convention was held before or after the dates of the Republican convention. (optional)
