Infobox capoeira technique may be used to summarize information about a capoeira technique.

Usage

The infobox may be added by pasting the template as shown below into an article and then filling in the desired fields. Any parameters left blank or omitted will not be displayed.

Parameters

Do not use all these parameters. Only use those parameters that convey essential or notable information about the subject. Any parameters left blank or omitted will not be displayed. If a data field has more than one parameter name which can be used, the preferred name is listed first in bold print.

Parameter	Explanation
name	Common name of capoeira technique (defaults to article name if left blank).
image	Image name: abc.jpg, xpz.png, 123.gif, etc.
image_size (imagesize)	Size to display image: 200px (set width), or 200x300px (max width & max height). This defaults to 225px if empty or omitted.
alt	Alt text for image, for visually impaired readers. See WP:ALT.
caption	Caption for image, if needed. Try to include date of photo and the photographer.
aka	Also known as - alternate names
type	Techniques may fall into different types, such as: kick, escape, move, fall, takedown, acrobatics...
parent_style	The capoeira style from which this technique originates, usually one of the following: Angola, Carioca, Regional, Contemporary, or Mixed.
parent_technique	If this technique is a variation or has derived from another technique
child_techniques	If this technique has variations or derivations
escapes	Escapes available to the defender from this technique
counters	Counter moves available to the defender from this technique
attacks	Attacks/moves available to the attacker from this technique
