Parameters

  • number= name of the game, e.g., 96 for the 96th cup
  • type= Grey Cup or Vanier Cup
    The number and type parameters together generate the infobox title, and the previous and next links. The type parameter is also used to select the label used for the MVP and MV2 fields.
  • image= logo of the game placed within double square brackets and width parameter;
e.g., [[File:Greycuplogo 2005.gif|200px|alt=WP:ALT description of image]]
  • image_caption = A caption explaining the image, if necessary.
  • date= date of the game
  • stadium= stadium where game is played
  • city= city where game is played
  • visitor name= full name of the team (e.g., Saskatchewan Roughriders); fills in team name in infobox and selects the colours used in final score box
  • home name= full name of the home team
  • visitor coach= head coach's name
  • home coach=
  • visitor record= team's regular season record (e.g., 12–5–1)
  • home record=
  • visitor1, visitor2, visitor3, visitor4= scores made in each quarter; the final score is calculated by the template
  • visitor5, visitor6, visitor7, ...= extra quarters may be added if, and only if, there are overtime quarters
    • visitor total= alternate score entry method for use if box score is unknown
  • home1, home3, home3, home4= scores for the home team
  • home5, home 6, home 7, ...
    • home total= alternate score entry method for use if box score is unknown
  • MVP= player named the most valuable player, the heading title is "Most Valuable Player" unless a type selection is made.

  • referee= Head referee name
  • coin toss= Honorary coin toss person
