Template:IPAc-mi/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage

[edit]

This template is used to display the Māori International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). The pronunciation is broken into individual phones so that they will have mouseovers to indicate pronunciation (the complete list is available at {{H:IPAc-mi}}). All phones from IPA for Māori are available. For anything outside that set, a different template should be used.

If [unsupported input] is displayed, it means that an unsupported input or non-existent sound file was used. Such instances are tallied at Category:Ill-formatted IPAc-mi transclusions, where they can be reviewed and fixed.

The first two variables can be used to indicate a prescript (e.g., Māori pronunciation:). All available flags are shown at {{IPAc-mi/pronunciation}}. The named parameter |audio= may be used to link to an audio file.

Use a keyboard underscore _ for a space between words.

There are a maximum of 200 variables.
