Purpose
[edit]This template is used to add an IMO number to a ship article's infobox, and to add the article to Category:IMO numbers. It additionally links the IMO number to Marinetraffic.com.
This template is intended to be used in the |Ship identification=
field in {{Infobox ship career}}.
Usage
[edit]The only parameter in the template is the ship's IMO number:
{{IMO Number|number}}
Example: for the article on Black Watch, {{IMO Number|7108930}} results in IMO number: 7108930.
If only number is required (e.g. in a table), the text can be hidden with the following syntax:
{{IMO Number|number|disp=no}}
Example: {{IMO Number|7108930|disp=no}} results in 7108930.
