Appearance
This is a documentation subpage for Template:Hindu tithi. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
This script accepts a number as argument and returns the tithi (in IAST) from the Hindu calendar that corresponds to that number.
Usage
[edit]{{Hindu tithi
| tithi =
| waning }}
Parameters
[edit]- tithi
- a number that identifies the desired tithi
- waning
- this parameter is optional. When present, it indicates that the desired tithi belongs to the waning phase of the moon. This is meaningful only when tithi=15. In that case, this parameter is used to distinguish between new moon (amavasya) and full moon (purnima).
