[edit]- ^ The Constitution of Florida requires each of the state's appellate districts to be represented by at least one justice on the Supreme Court who was resident in that district at the time of their initial appointment or election.[2] During the 2022 legislative session, the appellate district boundaries were changed,[3] resulting in the creation of a sixth appellate district.
- ^ Justices must retire by their 75th birthday.
