This is a more compact table template to list medals for figure skaters in their biography infoboxes and shall be used in combination with the module {{FS medal}}. The template itself can be embedded in {{Infobox figure skater}} or {{Infobox person}} or a similar infobox.
This table template lists medals at main international figure skating events, namely the Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships, Four Continents, Grand Prix Final, National Championships, World Team Trophy, Junior Worlds, Junior GPF, and the Youth Olympics. If a skater has won 10 or more medals in total, a medal count shall be added at the top, with the detailed medal list being automatically collapsed in desktop view (see example below).
Please use the parameter |medalrecord= (or |module=) to embed this template in an infobox.
Do NOT use |medaltemplates=, which does not correctly display this template.
{{Figure skating infobox medals|medalcount=yes <!--if total number of medals is minimum 10-->|nationals=<!--see correct entries below--><!--only add parameters with integers different from 0-->|OGg=|OGs=|OGb=|OGTg=|OGTs=|OGTb=|WCg=|WCs=|WCb=|ECg=|ECs=|ECb=|4CCg=|4CCs=|4CCb=|GPFg=|GPFs=|GPFb=|WTTg=|WTTs=|WTTb=|NCg=|NCs=|NCb=|JWCg=|JWCs=|JWCb=|JGPFg=|JGPFs=|JGPFb=|YOGg=|YOGs=|YOGb=|OG=|WC=|EC=|4CC=|GPF=|WTT=|NC=|JWC=|JGPF=|YOG=}}
A medal count shall only be added for skaters with 10 or more medals. The addition of this table automatically collapses the detailed medal list in desktop view. To add a medal count, set |medalcount=yes.
For skaters who changed countries or disciplines with a combined total of 10 or more medals, place them all in one bundled medal count table (see example 5 below).
Entries: In this template, the entries for the medal count table are set to 0 by default. Only add integers to parameters that are distinct from 0, for example |OGg=2 for two individual gold medals at the Olympic Games. A full breakdown of abbreviations can be found in the table on the right.
For National Championships, use the parameter |nationals= to link the respective competition like |nationals=Canadian for the Canadian Figure Skating Championships. See list of correct entries below.
If the skater competed for different national federations, use the parameters |nationals2= and |nationals3= as well as |NC2g= etc. (see example 3 below).
Take note that the team event of the Youth Olympics (with mixed NOC) is excluded from this template.
To add medals, use the parameter for the respective event like |OG= for medals at the Olympic Games. Then list the medals by color chronologically, using the template {{FS medal}} with the mandatory parameters:
{{FS medal| medal | event | year | city | discipline}}
Example:{{FS medal|s|OG|2010|Vancouver|m}}
Medal: select between the letters g (gold), s (silver), b (bronze), or d (disqualification).
Event: select between the abbreviations OG, WC, EC, 4CC, GPF, WTT, NC, JWC, JGPF, or YOG (see breakdown above). For Nationals, use the parameter |nationals= for the exact link to the competition. See list of correct entries below.
Year: add the year of the event like "2002". For the senior/junior Grand Prix Final and National Championships, use the format "2002–03" with an en-dash.
City: add the city where the event was held like "Salt Lake City".
Discipline: For senior events, select between the letters m (men's singles), w (women's singles), p (pairs), d (ice dance), or t (team event). For junior events, use b (boys' singles) or g (girls' singles). If articles about single disciplines of an event exist, they can be linked using the parameter |link=.
If a skater competed in different disciplines, place all medals chronologically in one block (see examples 3 and 5 below).
In the case of country changes, use one {{Figure skating infobox medals}} template for each represented country and place them in chronological order. Use only one medal count table for all countries in the first template and set |medalcount-top=yes in the other templates (see examples 4 and 5 below).
Parameter entries for National Championships
For the correct link to National Championships, use the parameter |nationals= with the following entries (take care of correct capitalization):
