This template is an easier alternative to create highest score statistics tables in figure skating, and it satisfies the latest accessibility criteria for data tables. It can be used to list the highest scores by discipline for the main international events, including the Winter Olympics Worlds, Europeans/Four Continents, and the Grand Prix Final.
Note: This template is currently not suitable for juniors as well as ice dance until the 2009–10 season, but it can be expanded by request. If you notice any bugs or have suggestions for additional parameters, please share them on the template's talk page.

Annotations and parameters
[edit]Annotations
- The
|discipline=
paramter must be determined to make the template work: select between "men", "women", "pairs", or "ice dance". - For ice dance tables, set
|dance segments=
"SD/FD" (records until 2017–18), or "RD/FD" (records from 2018–19). - The table caption and column headers are generated automatically. They are determined by the global parameter settings for the template.
- Each table row must contain the following mandatory information in this order:
| First name 1 | Last name 1 | First name 2 | Last name 2 | IOC country code | Score | Edition
- For single skating statistics, the cells "First name 2" and "Last name 2" are left empty as shown in "Example 1" below.
- For the edition, add the year of the event only (or the season in case of the Grand Prix Final).
- To add a global reference to the table, use the parameter
|ref=
. This is mandatory for all statistics tables. Official ISU documents are the preferred source. If there is none available, statistics tables from SkatingScores.com may be accepted as a reliable alternative source.
Parameters
- For highest historical scores achieved before the 2018–19 season, set the parameter
|historical=yes
. - This template uses {{Sortname}} to link automatically to the skaters' Wiki biography articles. To make this template work correctly, take care of the following issues:
- For skaters whose name links to a disambiguation page like Javier Fernández, set the parameter
|dabx=yes
or|dab_px=yes
to link correctly to their biography articles, in this case to Javier Fernández (figure skater). To see how the parameter is correctly used, scroll to the examples below. - For skaters whose biography articles have a different title than the usual first/last name format, use the parameter
|linkx=
or|link_px=
to add the correct target link.
