Template:Dutch name capitalization/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Template:Dutch capitalization is placed at the top of an article containing a Dutch name in historical information. When the intended Dutch name contains tussenvoegsels, the template indicates when the first later of the name is capitalized.

This template indicates that in the article, the first letter in the leading tussenvoegsel is capitalized unless preceded by a given name, initial, title of nobility, or other family name (e.g., in the married name of women) or another tussenvoegsel.

This template does not apply to Belgian or Flemish names.
