eastern shovelnose ray
- ... that the Latin meaning of rostrata is 'beaked', suggesting that the eastern shovelnose ray was named after its triangular snout?
- ALT1:... that the eastern shovelnose ray may have trichromatic colour vision?

- I am adopting this nomination which was made by a student editor who has made no further edits. The article is sufficiently expanded but the nomination was made two days late. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:13, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for adoption. Its a B class article with lots of refs. The hook facts are in the reliable sources. I've amended the credits. 2 days late is forgivable for a newbie. There is an openly licensed pic but its not very eye catching. Some bits of minor phrases duplicated have been removed. Both hooks are OK. QPQ waived. I think this is good to go.
