Too short

Ziegler's Water Rat

[edit]
  • ... that Ziegler's Water Rat has only been seen by scientists on two occasions during its 2005 discovery?

  • Doing some formatting. reviewing not quite big enough yet....Casliber (talk · contribs) 04:46, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
  • The hook is false. The 2005 paper describing it says that only a single specimen was known, which was collected in 1972. The Red List account says there are two known specimens, so I guess a second specimen turned up afterwards (but it was not necessarily collected after 2005). I didn't say anything about specimens, all I did was reproduce the data from IUCN which says it was discovered in 2005, maybe that should be changed to catalogued? And how much longer need it be? Where was this paper? It could be a source for more info for me.Luciferwildcat (talk) 21:07, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
It doesn't have to be too much longer, only 200 characters. It'd be good to find the original articles, the fulltext of which might require university access. I can email to you if I can get them. I'll try to take a look a bit later but am busy. Casliber (talk · contribs) 23:36, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
