- @Gerda Arendt: Thanks for your review, and you raised a good question. The sources all state the two activities together (and the Tibetan Plateau is created by the collision of the two plates), but do not explicitly say that they're the same investigation. So I'm revising the hook slightly to reflect that ambiguity:
