Yuri on Ice
[edit]- ... that professional figure skaters Stéphane Lambiel and Nobunari Oda had cameos in the anime series Yuri on Ice? Source: Anime News Network
- ALT1:... that the anime series Yuri on Ice won seven inaugural Crunchyroll Anime Awards, including "Most Heartwarming Scene" for an apparent gay kiss? Source: Crunchyroll
Improved to Good Article status by ISD (talk). Self-nominated at 20:03, 10 April 2017 (UTC).
- Article promoted to GA status by the nominator, long enough, copyvio issues limited to one quote (given as quote in the article), no image. ALT1 phrase, for a gay kiss, is not mentioned in the Awards section nor in the inline source (though it is mentioned elsewhere as apparent kiss, with inline citation). Original hook reads good but it would be nice if you can incorporate the original hook fact in the article on Nobunari Oda. Suggest ALT1 tweaked to include apparent. QPQ missing. @ISD: Please ping me once you have looked into the issues and QPQ is done. jojo@nthony (talk) 08:35, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
- I have carried out my QPQ (Caleb Swanigan) and changed the hook for ALT1 as requested. As for Nobunari Oda, I believe Yuri on Ice is already mentioned in the article about him, although I could have simply misunderstood what you originally meant. ISD (talk) 09:06, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks, sorry for the delay, I was waiting for your ping. The hook good for promotion. jojo@nthony (talk) 08:40, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks jojo@nthony - I should have linked to you earlier. Again, thanks for checking this over. ISD (talk) 08:43, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
