Overall: @Toadboy123: a very interesting article, quite a fascinating character. No copyright problems, and the article is well-written and long enough. However, for the hook, I would personally suggest ALT1: ..that Xiang Xuan participated in the Long March at age nine, instead of the original hook. The reader may think that Xiang was in his early adulthood when he participated, but I think it would be good to indicate at what age he took part in it.
