World Series ring
[edit]- ... that some players preferred receiving cufflinks or shotguns over a World Series ring (pictured)?

- Comment: I really want to strongly advocate for using this image with the hook, though it would require making it wider than a DYK image usually is for it to show up. They're so shiny!

- Date and length fine. Personally I think the original hook is best since it is interesting that someone would give up some "bling" for guns. Picture licence fine and I would agree that it should be used. Good to go. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 07:30, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
- It should be easy enough for you to crop the picture so one or two rings appear, and thus fit in a 100x100px box without losing resolution. Since this image is twice as wide as the rules allow for, there's a good chance that if it's promoted to a lead hook as is it will either be pulled or demoted. (Or, alternatively, someone will promoted it to a non-lead spot because it is too wide.) BlueMoonset (talk) 23:07, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
