Recent GA, article is long enough and no obvious copyvios. Hook is catchy and verified in the sources given, but I'm wondering if it could be trimmed down a bit for more impact. I'll take a look, but first some preliminary comments: (1) I always tense up a bit when the words German, purity, and law are used together; (2) According to the article, the subject explained that the secret to his prodigious drinking was that Man muss nur ("one must merely") das Zäpfchen zurückklappen ("the Zäpfchen fold back"). The article translates Zäpfchen as "uvula", but I'm bound to point out that Zäpfchen can also mean "suppository", which conjures up some uncomfortable imagery. E Eng 15:14, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

After consulting with the world's foremost authorities on suppositories, I conclude that the uvula is our best bet -- the beer purity stuff isn't really about the subject:
